Since most of our trips have been made in our newly acquired RV, a Winnebago Rialta. So we are acquainted with both styles of camping. Below we’ve organized our camping links according to seven regions around Lake Superior. Clicking on the heading will take you to the detailed links and info page for each region. So we try to cover noteworthy campgrounds in all categories from more primitive to modern.

Camping at Lake Michigan in Indiana
The new campground opens June Reservations can be made beginning Thursday, Feb. All campers must be self-contained because there are no restrooms or showers. All sites include water, sewer and electrical. Most visitors will be able to see the sun set over the lake from their campsites.
The Site Fee is for one camping unit and one family (2 Adults and their children under 18 years old). Additional Persons $ per adult, per night, $ per child. If more than 1 camping unit is set up an Extra Unit Fee charge ($$50/night) will be applied (No extra units allowed on Full or Premium).

They offer a range of services, including a restaurant, private beach, lake cruises, horseback riding, marina boat rentals, and a gift shop. All of the campsites have full hookups, a picnic table, and fire ring, and some also have views of the lake. They have over campsites , each with a picnic table and firebox, varying from full hookup sites to primitive ones hidden in the woods.
Tents, RVs, and even cabin seekers can find peace and quiet here. They have lakefront sites for RVs with full-hookups and a beautiful natural surrounding setting with wildflowers, trees and shrubs.
